Watling Academy

New Build Secondary School for circa 1800 pupils in Milton Keynes

Watling Academy was a new build school for 1800 pupils located in Milton Keynes in the newly developed White Road area. The new Academy is focused on pupils from ages 11 to 16 years old and has a large focus on science and sports. Etec Associates were involved with MK Council from early on in the project from RIBA stage 0 through to Stage 3+ and then provided the monitoring role of the MEPH sub contractors through to stage 7.  The project ran for almost 2 years from initial inception to completion.
