30,000 sq/ft Cat B fit out in an occupied building to form the 24/7 London call centre for Booking.Com
Etec Associates were employed by CBRE as MEPH Consultant for the Booking.Com new London Call Centre at Harbour Exchange, Canary Wharf. The clients requirements were for a 24/7 operation and thus the existing building heating, cooling and ventilation systems were adapted and supplemented to achieve this brief. In addition, Booking.Com provided a number of staff rest and break out spaces including a 4,000 sq/ft café, lounge and play zone.
- Cat B fit out to levels 2 and 3 of Exchange Tower to form a new 24/7 London Call centre for Booking.com.
- Existing basebuild VAV system supplemented with new VRF FCUs and HRUs for out of hours office operation.
- Large restaurant, café and break out area provided with full cooking kitchen.
- Two new Comms rooms, including UPS, HSSD systems and gas fire suppression systems.
- New lighting and lighting control throughout incorporating presence detection, daylight dimming and scene setting control.
- Existing fire alarm and security systems extended throughout the space.
- The project was completed in four phases allowing Booking.Com to take early occupation and commence operations, whilst the fit out continued in other areas.
