Atlas Copco
This old and dilapidated office building on an industrial estate in Hemel Hempstead was completely refurbished over a 12 month period to provide a new home for Atlas Copco. The project involved a complete Cat B fit out, plus extensive construction elements to create a new double height entrance and infill of an existing lightwell.
The works involved the creation of a warehouse and workshop space with training rooms, minor manufacturing & testing facilities plus extensive storage. In addition new office space was provided at first floor level with staff facilities on the ground floor including new gym, staff restaurant, and break out spaces. Etec Associates were employed as lead consultant to provide M&E consultancy services from initial concept through to completion and witnessing of testing.

- All new MEPH services throughout, including 160kWp of roof mounted PV panels
- New warehouse space with flexible three phase power solutions for power system testing
- New Comms Room with UPS and dedicated cooling
- New VRF system heating and cooling with ASHP hot water central generation system
