The Hubs

Two new buildings at North Greenwich, constructed to provide marketing, event and retail space.

Etec Associates undertook the MEPH design for Knight Dragon and Wates Construction to provide two new buildings adjacent to North Greenwich Underground station on Greenwich Peninsula.  The three storey marketing building incorporates show flats and exhibition space to promote the future development of Greenwich Peninsula.  The adjacent café building houses a café, Charcuterie, restaurant and champagne bar, complete with external terrace.

• New VRF systems were provided throughout the buildings for heating and cooling together with heat recovery ventilation units for fresh air and extraction.
• Specialist lighting has been provided throughout both buildings using a Lutron control system
• A cinema room was provided for public presentations relating to Greenwich Peninsula.
• A new sub-station was provided to serve the site which includes new external landscaping around the buildings.
• Due to the complexity of the design and shape of the building all MEPH services were modelled using Revit.
